Workshops at The Artichoke

November 4th, 2010

Announcing the beginning of the Artichoke’s Winter Workshop Series! We are calling for presenters, speakers, skillshares, etc. for this series that will keep us occupied during the cold winter months. Any interested people should contact Randi. Workshops don’t have to be related to food but should somehow support the mission of the co-op; fermenting, knitting, co-ops 101, presentations on the evolution of zombie films, whatever. If you would like to share your skills and knowledge, contact Randi at rwhitney26@gmail.com.

If you want to gain new knowledge and skills, check back for the listing of workshops!

City Crops Mixed Greens

May 16th, 2010

We have bags of locally grown mixed greens in at Artichoke for $4 a pound. The mix includes spinach, kale, mache, and lemon balm. There is a really great article about how and where these greens were grown from the T&G. The article can be found online here. Read all about ‘em then come down and eat ‘em.
